Join Addiction Sportfishing, the premier charter aboard the largest sportfishing vessel in Fort Pierce, and discover what’s biting just offshore. Your guide for the day is Captain Gill, a seasoned local expert with years of experience navigating these productive waters.
Target species vary by season, but popular catches include Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Blackfin Tuna, Red Grouper, Mutton Snapper, Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Swordfish, Cobia, and more. Depending on your goals, techniques may include trolling, spinning, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or other specialized methods unique to the area.
Family-friendly fun: Children are welcome aboard! Please ensure they have appropriately sized life vests—feel free to ask ahead to confirm availability. You’re also encouraged to bring snacks to keep everyone energized and happy throughout the trip.
You’ll fish from a 47-foot Buddy Harris sportfishing boat, equipped with outriggers and all the gear needed for a successful outing. The vessel accommodates up to six guests and includes an onboard restroom for added comfort. Rods, reels, tackle, and lures are provided, and live bait may be used—check in advance to see if you’ll be catching it yourself.
A professional First Mate will be on hand to assist throughout the trip. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% in appreciation for their service.
To make the most of your day, bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and any light snacks you may want. Moderate alcohol consumption is permitted—please avoid hard liquor and glass containers.

Included with Your Charter
Rods, reels, tackle, lures, and fishing licenses for all guests are included.
What to Bring
We recommend bringing personal items such as a hat, sunscreen (non-aerosol only), sunglasses, and a small cooler with lunch or snacks. There’s plenty of onboard storage for your belongings.
Stay hydrated—feel free to bring additional drinks. We provide plenty of ice for your beverages and the day’s catch.
Alcohol Policy
Moderate alcohol consumption is permitted. Please avoid bringing hard liquor or beverages in glass containers. Absolutely no illegal substances are allowed onboard.
Gratuity for the Mate
Our mates work for tips. A gratuity of 15–20% is customary and greatly appreciated for their hard work and dedication to your trip.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to your scheduled charter to receive a refund. Deposits are non-refundable unless the trip is canceled or rescheduled due to weather or at the captain’s discretion, in which case, your deposit will be refunded or applied to a future date.
Live Bait
Live bait may be used on your trip. If you’re interested, please discuss this with your captain ahead of time. There may be an additional charge if live bait needs to be purchased, though we can often catch it during your charter.

To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests and crew, Addiction Sportfishing (and all affiliated vessels) maintains a strict policy regarding guest behavior while onboard.
By booking a charter, all passengers agree to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner. The captain has full authority over the vessel and its operations at all times.
Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior—including but not limited to:
Excessive intoxication
Disorderly conduct
Verbal or physical abuse toward crew or other guests
Refusal to follow crew instructions
Possession or use of illegal substances
…will result in the immediate termination of the trip. In such cases, the vessel will return to port at the captain’s discretion, and no refund will be issued for lost time or expenses incurred.
This policy is strictly enforced to protect the safety, well-being, and legal compliance of everyone onboard.
By boarding the vessel, all guests acknowledge and accept these terms.
