Fishing has been pretty solid lately, with plenty of bait showing up along the beach and around the 12 Buoy. There have been lots of cobia and kingfish around, with a few mahi mixed in, especially in the 60–90 foot range. If you’re looking to push a little farther offshore, the 80–160 foot range has been producing some sailfish along with a few more mahi.
The snapper bite has been decent as well, with some nice mangroves being caught—including one we picked up on the downrigger the other day. There’s also been some action for those doing a little bottom fishing. Overall, there’s a good mix of fish around right now, with opportunities both nearshore and offshore, so it’s a great time to get out on the water and see what you can find!
